Andra Day is an American award-winning actress, songwriter, R&B and soul music singer well known for her single song “Rise Up”.
She has won several awards including a Grammy Award, a Children’s and Family Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award. She received the Grammy Award for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media for the film’s accompanying soundtrack in 2021.
